Lindsay Sirk is one of NextChapter’s incredible virtual paralegals, helping attorneys with case management tasks and petition preparation. She’s been working as a paralegal for 13 years and works from her home in Indiana. Lindsay is new to the NextChapter team and we’re so excited to have her on board!

Criminal law has always been something that intrigued and interested Lindsay. And after being offered a job at a law firm years ago, she’s loved working in the legal world ever since. She’s passionate about helping people find financial relief through bankruptcy and start a new chapter of their lives.

NextChapter’s software and workflows make Lindsay’s job easier. She loves being able to access information about each district since they all have different requirements. It’s also super convenient to allow all team members to view updates to each case to better track progress and manage everything easily.

Lindsay’s job depends on technology, and her favorite tools and platforms are Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, email, and the electronic filing feature for bankruptcy cases.

The work-from-home setup works great for Lindsay because of the convenience, but also because she loves listening to music while she’s working all day, which keeps her motivated. When she’s not working, she loves to travel and camp, experiment with cooking, and play around with photography and graphic design.
