Candace M. Clarke is an exceptional virtual paralegal with Paralegal as a Service from NextChapter. She works in Massachusetts but offers services across the nation. She’s been working in bankruptcy since 1996 and has “enjoyed every minute of the past 25 years!” Candace loves being able to help bankruptcy clients get through the emotionally taxing process, and take a huge weight off their shoulders when all is said and done.

Having always wanted to work in the legal world, Candace first had the opportunity to be a legal assistant for her own business lawyer. She’s been working as a paralegal ever since.

Candace loves working remotely as a virtual paralegal because she can work with a range of attorneys from many different states. It’s given her a lot of unique experiences! She also loves that working remotely allows her to take care of her elderly mother at home, who she says is now in her “Golden Years.”

She especially loves the Client Portal and how the tool provides default filing packages for each state. The one piece of advice she’d give is to always save your trustee instructions so you can use them again in the future.
