ABA TECHSHOW Startup Alley 2020
The ABA TECHSHOW held its fourth-annual startup pitch competition, the Startup Alley, and recently announced the winners for the upcoming live competition that will showcase the 15 innovative legal startups. Before the TECHSHOW begins with its welcome event, the winners will face off in the finals, and the TECHSHOW attendees will judge and choose the winner. All 15 finalists will be part of an exhibit featuring their product or service in the Startup Alley, which will be in the EXPO Hall during the TECHSHOW.

The ABA TECHSHOW held its fourth-annual startup pitch competition, the Startup Alley, and recently announced the winners for the upcoming live competition that will showcase the 15 innovative legal startups. Before the TECHSHOW begins with its welcome event, the winners will face off in the finals, and the TECHSHOW attendees will judge and choose the winner. All 15 finalists will be part of an exhibit featuring their product or service in the Startup Alley, which will be in the EXPO Hall during the TECHSHOW.

 

The 15 finalists for this year’s contest are the following movers and shakers:

 

Woodpecker: an AI-enabled legal document automation platform.

 

FirmTRAK: a platform that integrates with law firms’ management system to automatically generate KPI visualizations.

 

Proxy: a product from NMBL Technologies that optimizes legal functions including organizing and managing legal tasks.

 

LawCo: a tool that connects live leads to lawyers in real-time.

 

Lawgood: a web app that lawyers can use to draft and review contracts in a more streamlined fashion.

 

Josef: a legal automation platform for lawyers and teams to create and launch their own conversational bots.

 

DueCourse: helps lawyers have control of their careers with professional development and personalized learning tools.

 

Justice For Me: uses technology, lawyers, and financial partners to help clients who can’t afford legal representation.

 

SimplyConvert: an automated intake legal case qualification platform powered by an AI chatbot named Casey.

 

Discovery Genie: a system that automates the document production process saving firms time and money.

 

Intaker: uses AI to capture and qualify prospective clients.

 

Parley Pro: a contract management platform that automates documents and workflows, enabling real-time multi-party contract negotiation.

 

ECFX: an electronic court filing solution that reduces time spent on the process with a SaaS B2B automated platform.

 

Billseye: provides real-time, automatic call tracking, documenting, and billing solutions for integration with current case management software.

 

Text A Lawyer: gives lawyers captive client leads that convert at a high rate, and lawyers get paid to field these leads in real-time.
