NextChapter's
1-1-1 Promise
The NextChapter team is dedicated to giving back to our community by donating once percent of our time, equity, and product. Inspired by Salesforce, we utilize the 1-1-1 model to carry out our mission - serving the world around us 🌎
1% of Our Time 🕒
NextChapter believes change happens when we directly work with deserving non-profits in our local community. Our team uses Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give NextChapter employees the chance to give back because it’s our social responsibility to bring people to the next chapter of their lives. In the past, the NextChapter team has volunteered at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank and The Homeless Families Foundation.
Our team assembled packages filled with food items for the underprivileged members of our community at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank 🍎
NextChapter headed down to the Homeless Families Foundation last Christmas to help families getting back on their feet. We guided them through a free gift shop and wrapped so many presents! 🎁
The NextChapter team joined South Side Roots in providing healthy food and a mixed income dining and shopping experience for Columbus residents 🍳
We headed back to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank to help out in their community garden! Our team learned all about horticulture and serving healthy and fresh foods to those in need 🍓
1% of Our Product 🖥
As a team of former and current bankruptcy professionals, the NextChapter team understands the financial hardships bankruptcy filers experience. Many of those filing cannot afford the legal services in order to file their case. We believe in Access to Justice for low-income families so we provide our software for free to attorneys filing Pro-Bono cases.
1% of Our Equity 💼
In addition to our other promises, NextChapter donates a portion of company equity to organizations and nonprofits around the United States. Our focus is to support those organizations that help families recover after financial hardship.
🔜 NextChapter is passionate about serving our community and lending a helping-hand to people everywhere. Read more about our mission and volunteer events in future blog posts and learn about our free bankruptcy for pro bono cases program on our philanthropy page.
