At NextChapter, we are driven by our user requests and that's why we were so excited last week to announce the NextChapter Summer '16 Release! If you missed it, you can find more information in this blog post.
Behind the Scenes
We make steady improvements to our application regularly but for this release, we really wanted to let all of our users know about some of the big changes occurring in our bankruptcy program over the past few months. Our developers flew in to Columbus the day before the release and immediately began working to test out all the new features and put the finishing touches on some of the big projects like the Income & Expenses calculator.
When we set out to do the Summer ’16 updates we exclusively focused on the features our users ask for most frequently. We partnered with Universal Credit Services to build a Credit Report Integration engine that syncs automatically with NextChapter. Although this took us a few months to complete, it is a huge time-saver for attorneys and paralegals and has quickly become a favorite feature. In the background, our development team, quality assurance testers and customer success team has been working hard to live up to our goal of being your single-trusted bankruptcy source.
Summer '16 Release Benefits
Fewer headaches and less wait time are two benefits of our business that we really take seriously because we understand the deadline-driven nature of law firms and how valuable time is to an attorney or paralegal. In addition to saving time and sanity, we believe these new features will save you money and energy and make your clients happier (win-win!) Take a look at all the great benefits to the Summer '16 Release.
Looking forward to the Fall ’16 Release we are so excited for the Clio Integration! Now our users can have a bankruptcy program that will be fully integrated with their CRM program. Imagine having all your clients entered into Clio one time and then pulled into NextChapter, ready to go, when you get all the client documents you need. You can have your calendar and tasks integrated with NextChapter too so that you don’t miss deadlines.
The other feature we hope our users will be just as excited about as we are is the Client Intake Portal. This feature is an additional time saving tool that will help you speed up the document intake for your law firm. Your client will be able to use a form to get as much of their information entered into NextChapter as possible, saving more time between the initial client meeting and starting the case in NextChapter. Be on the lookout for an email about the NextChapter Fall '16 Release information.
