NextChapter has always been web-based, but we're taking versatility and efficiency to a new level with our mobile app. Experience better firm management with quickly accessible documents and client information, edit cases on the go, and easily track and schedule appointments.
Spotlight Search and Conflicts Check
No matter where you are in NextChapter, you can find what you need and check for conflicts with our new spotlight search feature. Especially useful for high filing firms, you can jump from case to case to pull information without having to go back to the firm dashboard. The spotlight feature will allow your firm to avoid conflicts of interest when representing debtors and creditors.
Client management is now even easier! Turn incoming leads into satisfied clients with Infusionsoft and NextChapter. Experience seamless workflows when converting a lead to a new client and easily import the new clients into NextChapter. The Infusionsoft integration is especially helpful for firms with remote or virtual assistants.
NextChapter's Virtual Paralegal Support service is a great way to increase revenue and decrease expenses without consuming all your time and energy. Whether you have too many cases or have a busy personal life - we'll step in and take care of the casework with minimal cost to you, so you can focus on growing your business. We conduct the client meetings and enter all the information needed to file the case, eliminating the stress from complex cases. NextChapter has recently expanded this service to emergency and non-emergency filings for Chapter 13, Chapter 11, and Chapter 7 (individual and non-individual)
NextChapter for Business Cases
Filing complex business cases doesn't have to be complicated. We've added several enhancements and other capabilities that speed up the entire filing process for business bankruptcy cases.
Don't spend any more time typing long, itemized lists. With NextChapter's new and easy attachment process, you have the option to upload lists of assets, payments, or business partners just by checking a box! This new feature allows you to upload these lists as attachments and NextChapter automatically attaches them to the corresponding form for you, eliminating the need to manipulate the forms and making sure filings are more accurate.
Business Income and Expense Form
NextChapter now automatically creates Profit and Loss statements for your business case! Follow the prompts that ask for the debtor's income and expenses, and we'll automatically generate the form for you. These forms can be easily adjusted and edited at any time, so if expenses ever change, it's little hassle to you.
It only takes a few clicks to save your future self time and experience better case organization by grouping alike business cases with a prefix. If applicable, add the prefix name in the Filing Information section and do so for all related cases. Whenever you need to reference those business debtors that are jointly administered, you won't have to squint at the screen, scrolling to find them or trying to recall them from your memory. Now you can just pop into your Full Case List and sort by Client Prefix.
Sole Proprietor Businesses Automatically saved to Business Related Section
When you enter a sole proprietor business in the Debtor Profile section, it'll now be automatically saved to the business related section in the case. Now you only have to enter this data once, saving you time.
Ability to save multiple creditors to multiple assets in business cases
Now in business cases, you can reduce redundant data entry by saving multiple creditors to multiple assets in business cases. This new feature eliminates the need to enter business info twice and is overall more efficient for your firm.

Take control of your creditor data with NextChapter's new import and export options! Manage your defaults more efficiently by using the bulk delete, and import and export more fields at once.
NextChapter is even more customized to your workflow with Firm Created Events. You can create custom events in account setting so scheduling dates to your calendar isn't so time-consuming.
