Meet Trace Daniel, NextChapter's Business Development Manager. Trace joined the NextChapter team in July with 9 years of experience in entrepreneurship and business development. Completely new to legal tech, Trace enjoys the challenge of learning and working in a new space.

Trace's high-energy and enthusiasm for building relationships and providing attorneys with the best tools to grow their business is what drives his work at NextChapter. He is excited about showing attorneys a software that makes their firm more efficient and thus, more profitable.

Trace's Main Job Duties

  • Sales Team Leadership and Development
  • Sales Operations Management
  • New Client Acquisition

Working at NextChapter provides Trace with endless opportunities to make a difference within the business and the legal space. NextChapter's collaborative and flexible environment allows him to dabble in projects outside his typical job duties. Trace loves the impact he gets to make at NextChapter and can't wait to do more with the company!

Trace is also passionate about NextChapter's bankruptcy application that is intuitive and easy-to-use, even for someone who has not practiced in the bankruptcy space. His favorite aspect of the software is how it automates the BK process and creates more flexibility for attorneys. In Trace's words, "One of NextChapter's main objectives is to help attorneys automate their firm, which opens up more time in their day to reinvest into their business or personal life."

When it comes to staying productive at work, Trace uses a couple different methods. Franklin Covey's 4 Quadrants allows him to section tasks to ensure that he is operating as productively as possible. Trace also implements time blocking to balance tasks between the urgent and the important. Trace's favorite technology tools to use every day are his Apple devices! With his Macbook or iPhone, he can be productive anywhere at any time.

Trace is a Columbus-native and graduate of Kent State University. In his free time, Trace spends time with his son. He also likes being active, whether that's going to the gym or running by the river. You can find Trace around Columbus enjoying a delicious meal and a good drink.
