At NextChapter, we don’t develop features to just match what you’re already seeing in the legal tech world; we develop to improve and surpass what’s already out there. And that’s exactly what we did with the new Chapter 13 Plan Editor.

To do this we listened - on the phone, through live-chats, in person at conferences - we’ve been listening this past year about what attorneys and paralegals like and don’t like about the way they are currently preparing Chapter 13 plans. We worked hard to create an editor that would solve many of the frustrations we heard and to overall enhance the process of preparing Chapter 13 plans. And now it’s here! We can’t wait for you to get your hands on the latest from the NextChapter development team. Let’s go over some of the best features of the Chapter 13 Plan Editor:

1. It’s clean and easy to use - just like the rest of NextChapter! After you create your plan and make updates, you can export the document to PDF at any time and as many times as you would like.

2. The information you’ve already entered in NextChapter will be pulled directly into the plan to save you the hassle of entering it all again. Goodbye double-data entry!

3. Your work can be saved at any time. You can also save multiple versions for updates and amended plans.

Plans are being added on a per-district basis and will be available to use along with the Chapter 13 Plan Calculator for free for 30 days after each plan is released. Check the list to see if your plan is ready or coming soon here.
