Credit Data You Can Trust 🌎

 

NextChapter is partnered with Universal Credit Services (UCS) to provide a tri-merge credit report from all three bureaus:  Equifax®, Experian®, and Transunion®. Credit reports from UCS are all-inclusive, ensuring all of your bankruptcy cases will have complete and accurate information.

 

 

 

1. Quick and Easy Setup

 

Bureau-mandated requirements mandate that you fill out a one-time set up form to register for UCS. Don’t worry - We make the setup process a breeze. Complete the application right through your NextChapter account settings.  

 

 

 

2. Onsite Visit 🏢

 

An onsite physical inspection by Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA) is required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act which mandates that CRAs verify the identity of the end-user prior to providing the credit report. NextChapter will activate your NextChapter credit report integration just 24-hours after a completed site visit and you’ll be ready to start rolling!

 

 

3. Requesting the Credit Report 📉

 

Requesting a credit report has never been simpler! Start with going to the Credit Report tab in the case. All you need to do is enter the debtor’s full social security number and date of birth. Customize the report by just checking and unchecking boxes!

 

 

 

4. Direct Import 🔄

 

This is the most exciting part of Credit Report Integrations! We pull the information from the credit report and directly input it into NextChapter. This is a HUGE time-saver because we’ll import the creditors from the report into the Secured Claims and Unsecured Nonpriority Claims sections.
